https://news.yahoo.com/rep-kinzinger-time-leaders-disavow-173936172.htmlRep. Adam Kinzinger on Sunday emphasized the importance of President Donald Trump and other leaders calling out QAnon a set of far-right conspiracy theories that allege the existence of a deep state against Trump.
The Illinois Republican, who posted a video on YouTube explaining QAnon on Sunday morning, said its time for other lawmakers to definitively and emphatically denounce the theories.
While QAnon theories have circulated in recent years, they have received more attention since Marjorie Taylor Greenes primary runoff win in Georgias 14th Congressional District on Tuesday.
Greene has vocally supported QAnon theories, and Trump endorsed her candidacy. The president went so far as to call her a future Republican star after her primary win. She is heavily favored to win in November.

OP
It wasn't that long ago QAnon politicians wouldn't have stood a chance in any election.

Purple district here.
Rs primary him with some RWNJ, they'll flip the seat blue.
The "lean" R voters around here overwhelming voted for him & his predecessor. But, "leaners" can be pushed the opposite way.
Kinzinger knows this, and although I disagree with his politics, is not a frothing idiot.
He likely is reading the tea !eaves. PINO loses, and the rebuild/rebrand starts with him as a star. The "reasonable" republican. He's been avoiding being painted by that PINO brush for over a year now. The "maverick" who doesn't fear primaries!
He's an opportunist, but not an idiot.
