Now you know why Trumpland is so desperate to get SOME KIND of big sporting league up and running ASAP.
Trump NEEDS these rally events to feed his ego.
They can't force the pros so they're trying to
bully the collegiate sports leagues.

That supposition is mine and mine alone. Nuzzi doesn't say it in the article after noting what Kushner told Trump.
But it follows from Trump's massive black hole of emotional need.

I had seen references to their "best ground game in the history of the world," or some such nonsense. I knew it was probably a lie, but this makes it clear what a big lie it is.
