I'm almost certain that MSNBC has right-wing editors during the daytime hours. They reported Mark Meadows comment on CNN, (that no machines were removed) as if it were true . They reported only recently released statements by the Post Office (Dejoy) and referred to delays in mail as "anecdotal".
They did mention that democrats were opposed to Dejoy but didn't go into depth. They gave Trump the last word.
on edit...Joe and Mika making up for it. Sorry for the rant.

(7,367 posts)"He (Dejoy) is making the Post Office great again". Trump. That was the overall takeaway.

(5,270 posts)without explaining that the Dems bill already includes both money for USPS and stimulus money. So any casual viewer would think Dems were against stimulus checks and would have to be pressured into agreeing for stimulus checks to get funding for USPS. I think it was MSNBC but could have been CNN (spouse changes channels back and forth) and the moderater didn't clarify either.
I've been noticing that sort of thing more and more as the election draws nearer.

(50,956 posts)There are about 350,000,000 people in the USA. Very generously, let's say 200,000,000 of them are voters.
200 million pieces of mail is too much to handle, but an annual 5 billion is not.
Yeah, that makes sense, MSNBC. Great reporting.

(3,742 posts)Are DC zips getting special treatment or is it just tracked packages that move quickly?
Our incoming residential mail/packages were being "held" in a "bucket" until I inquired at our local post office.
A trumped up problem no doubt.

(44,973 posts)There are no ballots being mailed right now for general election. If those are primary ballots they are claiming slowing the system down, most of the states are done with primaries.

(7,367 posts)They are referring to the letters of alarm sent to the states. But at least the host is explaining the bigger picture now. No excuse for what was reported early this morning.
