Hopefully it will get just as much coverage as yesterday's CNN poll that had Biden up by only +4.

I do wonder how the CNN poll is so close when no other serious poll is? And, not to mention, their last poll had Biden up +14 points in June.

I'm really glad to see this ABC News/Washington Post +13 poll because it is from an A+ rated pollster!

There is still a HUGE danger that Trump could have more people cast votes, or could screw with something, or could have the Russians help.

They are statistically inevitable if you take enough polls. That’s why I would not trust a single poll but rather look at the average that aggregators like 538 do.

9. Polls can influence some people.

NBC this morning said "the race is tightening" and showed Biden up by only 9 points. Now, you and I may not be influenced by polls, but anyone looking for a reason to still support Trump may use it as a way to convince themselves that "he's really not that bad". They also said he's way ahead of Biden with regards to the economy. Can you even imagine that?

I hope we don't get too complacent. I watched a video yesterday of all the different women's marches that took place after he stole the last election and I thought, "if only all those people vote, we'll be OK". Again, we need to caution ourselves that what we read on DU is not what most people know about all he and his grifting family are doing and have done. Most Americans don't follow politics as in depth as we do.

Make no mistake about it. The GOP is going to do everything they can whether it's illegal/immoral or not. They are not above stealing another election. I also fear we are not concentrating enough on downticket races. Trump is just a distraction from what they are doing.

11. I've never trusted CNN polls since the 2012 VP debate

if you sampled the average amount of Dems & Republicans, you would have a higher percentage of Democrats in your poll than Republicans every time because there are more Democrats.

However, with the Biden/Ryan debate, they sampled Republicans by 8 points higher than Democrats (something like 41% vs 33% or something like that) and they called it a draw because the result was 50-50. (I thought Biden won the debate handily when he said that the Afghans have to rebuild their own country)

That said, I see Biden up 11 in the poll, not 13?

12. Think if Biden was down this big

If Biden was down 8+ in the poll average and the best any outlier poll could show for him was -4, the Dems would be talking about running someone else, it would be all but over.

Biden is going to win the popular voted easily, the only chance Trump has is Shennanigans and he's trying for them all the time.
