There is talk of my local Post Office being shut down.

There is no home delivery here and everyone has to have a PO box if you want mail. A few years ago the hours the window at the PO was open was reduced to 2 hours a day M-F and 1 hour on Saturday. They'll probably install a group of cluster boxes in town and it'll be a 24 mile round trip to the nearest Post Office if one wants to ship out a package.

My home town is full of Trump supporters and while they are upset about the prospect of the PO being shuttered, not one has mentioned Trump and his role in regards to this matter.

If they are, they are blaming obama cuts.

But don't worry, I'm sure a trump connected business will start operating private package and letter delivery out of the old building. And because it isn't legally "mail", none of the privacy laws or anti-corruption statutes will apply. It will just be a business operating for profit under its own terms and conditions.

They might even have a cafe. You like latte's, right? You aren't one of those anti-latte types I hope! Trump will be railing against you anti-lat types very soon!
