The situation looks like freedom of speech on the part of the Senator. Don’t know what he can be or should be charged with.

Note. Under no circumstances do I condone people tearing down statues. If all those people joined the rest of us and voted on every race, then such statues will get taken down by municipalities once the right people get elected.
