If we don't have secure, open, universal mail in ballots

in every state and every county, then we should abolish all mail in balloting.

trump and his handlers are targeting Democratic voting areas. That will let the strong red voting areas, like sections of Florida and the south, will have all the benefit of those mail-in ballots while Democratic ballots will be "lost" and delayed.

like when they are checked for signature validation or other possible error, the reviewer can see who you voted for and dump your ballot

The signature validation is on the outside of the envelope, where how you voted isn't visible. Plus, most of the time counting is done with at least one person from each party present. So I seriously doubt such shenanigans are common.

Bigger problem is electronic voting machines that all by themselves change your vote.
