This type of event has been over hyped ever since I started posting on the internet. Countless times on this site alone. Somehow everyone expects a punching bag who cowers and concedes in a pool of tears.

Meanwhile it's invariably a placid type who is heavily lawyered and rehearsed, equipped with plenty of bullshit numbers as deflective cover. That's what we are going to see. And likewise with Pence in the vice presidential debate.
