Eh. I can't even finish the sentiment.

There's a certain irony in the idea that the people who teach against evolution are the ones who will die out first.

In a week, 0.4% are quarantined.
Ignoring potentially exponential growth, 1 in 25 students across the state could be in quarantine before the first quarter ends.
Given that idiot they put in the governor's office, I'm not sure it won't be worse.

Georgia has already had a catastrophic school opening. All of the states with idiots for governors who want to "reopen" too fast and without a care in the world are going to see this kind of stuff, and those governors will be ok with it. They seem to be more like Trump and have no concern about their fellow human beings. Dead inside or sadistic? I don't know which.

for a king's ransom. I would whip out my contract and get a doctor's note for a leave of absence, paid or not. I did it before and wouldn't hesitate for a nanosecond to do it again now.

Also, low income kids will be home for lunch just in time for many of the food centers to close at September's end. Mississippians are getting so let down by their own government. The utter lack of sensible planning is so sad.

Especially the teachers.

And the parents that need school so they can work? They’re screwed too.

Sigh.

Alll of this would be handled soooooo much better with an actual administration that cared about the country.
