Mrs. Pence is indeed rightly called "Mother", but they shouldn't call Mike Pence "Father". It would be much more appropriate for the narrator to call Mike Pence "Son".

Casting Pence as a Gay man because a he’s homophobic. The vast majority of homophobes are heterosexual.
