So when he wrote the sorting machines would stay where they are, he meant they would stay in the trash.

(16,616 posts)power, it is now. Bring out inherent contempt. Detain and arrest some of these people. Pick up the phone and call FBI Director Chris Wray, or maybe even Chief Justice Roberts.

Why do we even pay these guys if they won't do their jobs? It's like they work for somebody else.

nternal sources say mail sorting machines are being dismantled at downtown GR post office. Process started yesterday. Order came from Postmaster General DeJoy. @WOODTV

People are shipping packages more during this pandemic since we have to stay home. So deliver is up for many supplies and people send care packages to loved ones. All that is slowed way down since these Republicans decided to cut costs by throwing equipment into the trash.

(214 posts)I have called Senator Cory Gardner's office every other day for the past two weeks telling him to get off his A$$ and defend the Post Office. I have gotten dozens and dozens of my friends to do the same. Perhaps an all out calling campaign is in order on the national level. If everyone reading this can call their elected officials and get 3 or 5 of their friends to do the same and then contact 3 or 5 of their friends and so on

(5,643 posts)what are we to do?
What can we do? It is clear DeJoy is a criminal, but so is AG Barr, so there is no one to prosecute DeJoy, or to swiftly stop him from his destruction. Lawsuits and injunction can't happen fast enough, they are working 24/7 dismantling the machines.
This is fucking bullshit! I'm livid. Literally shaking.

(7,530 posts)They're already installed, they're already paid for, they're doing work they'd have to pay employees to do! The only reason to remove resources is to specifically slow down and sabotage the process.
That would be like me throwing out a perfectly good vacuum cleaner to "save money" by spending hours and hours picking dirt from the carpet by hand.
