I haven't heard this. Kolfarge did, but Bannon was taken from a Chinese national's yacht.

At any rate, he would have been at least partially accountable for the embezzled money which was used to buy the boat.

I have just been going at it with some Conservatives who want to argue that all administrations are crooked, as if it renders moot the accusations. I argued that the Conservatives have to choose one of two options. Either Trump has intentionally surrounded himself with criminals or he is a damn fool for bringing them in to his circle. I see no other option.

I left them with the thought that Trump would either be remembered as the worst President in the history of the nation, or the last president in the history of the nation.

I'm guessing the Wall Pac scam wasn't just a fundraiser for Trump's campaign.

The Hartford Courant -
The massive yacht remained off West Beach in Westbrook early Thursday. The New York Times reported that the yacht belongs to exiled Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui.

..."A listing from Moran Yacht & Ship calls Lady May “innovative in every sense of the word” and boasts that it won “a succession of Superyacht awards in 2015.” Boat International reported in 2015 that Neville Crichton, a businessman and yacht racer originally from New Zealand, conceived of Lady May as a slightly bigger version of another yacht named Como. But, Crichton said, “it was the height of the global financial crisis and even though Australia came through that pretty well, I just wasn’t excited.” A year later, Dubois Naval Architects came up with a new design that was more than just a stretched-out Como. That yacht, Lady May, now belongs to Guo."

Imagine what all SDNY has on this case, for them to send down indictments & arrests.

They wouldn't be at this point without some serious findings ready to prove the case

Would this happen as it did because they were off the Coast of Conneticut? (I think)

Had they been out in internat'l waters the commandeering of the Yacht & arrest of Bannon couldn't have happened. Right?
Asking cuz I have no idea on such matters.

the United States of America controls all international waters. That's how they interdict drug smugglers at the base of Cape Horn and other international waters.

I have no inkling of how the USPS did it but go fast boats were my first thought. The boat doesn't seem to have a heli pad but it might.

Years ago I was boarded by the Coast Guard 25 miles out in the Gulf of Mexico to check for "illegal fish", and safety equipment.

I think they were just bored and hoping for a hit.
