But now I can think of no better team than Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to lead us out of these trying times.

However, as early as December, when I was asked for my prediction, I said Biden.

Most people were startled, and asked how come. I said, because I think that after the disaster of Trump, showing what happens when you get a president who has no idea what he's doing and doesn't care, we will end up going with the opposite: a nominee who knows exactly what he's doing, and cares deeply. I even caught a Republican strategist off guard with that, although she certainly had no reason to give my humble prediction any weight. I haven't seen her since then, but I suspect she might be with the Lincoln group anyway.

And I haven't even heard the speech yet!

But she fizzled out early. I moved on to Bernie. When Biden clinched it, I felt he would be an acceptable nominee. I am now unabashedly enthusiastic for Biden.

I would strongly suspect the same. And what a change THAT would be!
