"We...now expect to have 2 hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico early next week" (Tweet)

TEXT: #BREAKING we are now expect to have 2 hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico early next week. This is a very rare, very dangerous situation for the entire Gulf Coast.
@cbs46

Tweet includes a frightening graphic showing the trajectories of the two storms, and their expected timelines.

around a point proportional to their respective strengths. depens a lot on their actual paths and speed over water.

that might move marco farther to the west, with faster movement speed, while moving laura to the east and keeping her over water (strengthening) for more time.

merger of the centers (with totally unpredictable result) is possible but only the most deranged meteorologists are hoping to see that.

So we’re to expect New Orleans to be spared? Sorry Mississippi, Texas, and Florida, I gotta worry for my own people. 😜

If these paths hold (they seldom are exact) the southern states will get a dose of what it likes to live under a banana republic dictator. While they suffer, the power will be uninterrupted at Trump’s house in Mar a Lago.

I sure do remember Hurricane Harvey coming through
Austin about 3 years ago. I was playing bridge in a
tournament and ended up driving my partner up and
down Lamar during the storm -- it was a wild ride!
He used to joke about being scared to death lol.

Wouldn't be surprised if we had 2004 and 2005 seasons combined for 2020. It's been a...less than stellar year.
