Woman dies of Covid, infected after wedding in Millinocket, Maine

I am spitting mad. A woman who never even attended a super spreader wedding in Maine has died of Covid. She is a secondarily infected patient. So far over 30 people have been infected by a wedding attended by 60+ guests in violation of state law.

To October 2021. We would even think of putting everyone at risk for a party. How selfish can you be?

And counting.

Just wait until the schools and colleges and universities open.

I had a long time family friend die of COVID-19 this week in a southern Maine nursing home. She died alone because her children couldn't be with her. We kids all played together. I can't imagine what they went through.

My Mom is isolated in a nursing home in Portland.

We can't even do window visits anymore.

It tears at my heart everyday.

She is appalled by the selfishness of brides who will put everyone at risk just so they can have their “perfect” day. And venues are willing to break the law secretly to serve these bridezillas. Lawsuits need to happen. Brides and venues need to lose their shirts. (And my relative refuses to photograph their weddings.)

7. If people really want to get married that badly, they should just get married by a priest or a JOP

and postpone the big celebration until after this pandemic is over or at least until cases are negligable. They are still legally married and they can postpone their party until a later time to keep everyone safe.

I get so disgusted by these couples, mainly brides, I'm afraid, who insist on their "big day" without any concern for the health and welfare of the people who are attending, working the wedding, and those that they might go home and infect. It's just so selfish!

But is still doing it in her backyard for a Christmas wedding? I wish she would delay. The whole reason for doing it few days before Christmas was to bring the whole family together for the holiday also.

I am not going, my other daughter is not going. Only her friends and her parents. Both great grandmothers are still alive in 90's they are not going.

I just hope no one gets sick.
