I am going to be watching closely. I think we are on our own...firefighting resources are depleted. Not one word from the hateful traiter squatting in OUR White House. And where is FEMA? Was talking to a friend yesterday, she has relatives with lumber mills and livestock and so on near Santa Cruz, burned out, as are lots of people. Apparently there's a need for temporary housing, travel trailers and the like. I haven't even checked what happened with these fires overnight. The prospect of more lightning is...not good at all, putting it mildly. My immediate area has been spared, so far. That can change quickly.
Anyway, stay safe, have a plan for yourself and animals. My horse trailer is hooked up, ready to help. I won't get fire right here at my house, surrounded by irrigated farmland, but I have friends who will definitely need to move animals if this all goes gunnysack.
