Breaking in Jamaica- The Commissioner of Police Major General Anthony Anderson

tested positive for Covid-19.
So Head office is shut down for cleaning and several cops and admin staff are in quarantine.
Opening up the island as the Emancipation Day and Independence Day Holidays have only increased the numbers.

Calling elections was also a very bad idea.

The police information arm, the Corporate Communications Unit (CCU), says he is now in isolation at home after presenting with flu-like symptoms.

In the meantime, the CCU says the commissioner's immediate support staff are all being tested and have been placed under quarantine.

Sections of his office have also been closed for sanitisation.

Meanwhile, Major General Anderson is urging all members of the constabulary, particularly those on the frontline to take all necessary precautions as they carry out their daily functions.

The hospitals should still have power and water, still able to help. I hope you and yours are doing well.

Poor Haiti, hammered again.
