... Tho if he wanted to really be strict about making sex as pro-creative as they could, he ought to make giving an orgasm to a woman mandatory. If she is ovulating, the orgasm makes her suck the sperm up insider her better.

She had been the wife of his brother. His brother died. Their law required him to take his brother's widow as an additional wife and make her pregnant. He refused. He enjoyed using her body but withdrew to prevent pregnancy. Since her children would be her support in her old age he was robbing her of her retirement income. She couldn't get pregnant by anybody else because of the restrictive marriage laws they had. His sin wasn't spilling his seed but was robbery of her old age security.

Jan 2012

One of the things I will talk about, that no president has talked about before, is I think the dangers of contraception in this country. It’s not okay. It’s a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be. [Sex] is supposed to be within marriage. It’s supposed to be for purposes that are yes, conjugal…but also procreative. That’s the perfect way that a sexual union should happen…This is special and it needs to be seen as special.”
~Rick Santorum, opposing contraception and frighteningly suggesting that he would make pre-marital sex illegal.

the hole? Someone needs to see what he was taught. He has some serious sexual hangups. who is he to decide what is 'supposed to be' in sexual contexts? He can't even talk about it in terms that speak to something this side of the worst case of puritanical prudism I've ever seen.

Mr. Santorum ... its penis and vagina. as for your 'authority' to speak about what is 'supposed to be within marriage' ... WTF again. Seriously. The Catholic Church always makes me smile when they go on about marriage. How the F would they know what a good marriage is and what is normal in a sexual relationship. Someone needs to ask him if he bases his opinions and actions on Catholic doctrine (he does) and why he thinks anyone should take him and that seriously given the child rape and sexual abuse of nuns and religious within the church for oh say ... about two thousand years. What a sad boy. I bet he can't even verbally explain how he got seven kids.

wrong because he says it will lead to things in marriage that are ... uh ... different I guess than the missionary position every Saturday night at ten.

Someone needs to give this dipshit a sex manual. someone taught him that dirty bits are evil. I think he has his wife wear a night gown with a hole in it like in the old days.

I thought you were going to ask if he also would be going after men who "use Viagra". It seems to me that if god has made a man impotent, it isn't right for the man to try to cheat.

And what about couples who use fertility treatments to get pregnant? God had made the decision that this couple is not supposed to have children----so why should they go behind god's back?

But I suppose that he will not go after men who do their own thing because...well....that will be a little difficult to determine.

Bring on the clowns.

they've always wanted to outlaw contraception, along with abortion. That's why Griswold is the SCOTUS decision they're really gunning for.

It's driven by this insane need to run peoples' lives for them, this misplaced high-horse superiority that says "you can't make THAT choice because blahblahblahblah and I know better than you"

Sadly, a trait that is all too common.
