If Trump loses this election, there will be many inflection points - but if he loses by the margin he trails in the polls right now, I suspect you'll be able to tie it back to the event at the White House where he gassed protesters to clear them out for the photo-op. At that moment, he lost a lot of support in the polls.

I suspect another night like that would be even more devastating than just loud horns in the background of his acceptance speech.

12. I've never put together a protest like this but it seems to me

that the element of surprise is critical to pull it off effectively. Nothing tRump would like more than squashing such a protest so he looks like the strongman.

Telling the White House days in advance you intend to embarrass him on his big night seems to me to be a guarantee you will fail to carry out your mission. Just sayin’.....

And the mic’s to pic up the audience’s applause can be turned off. This won’t be like chopper talk, where there are various boom mics pointed towards the president.

The press won’t have their own cameras or sound systems, all audio and video will likely be fed and controlled by the RNC to the press pool.

Probably the best they can hope for is to create enough noise so that the audience can’t hear Trump when he’s speaking. Doubtful they can disrupt the audio of the broadcast itself.
