Down South who tried it, I never knew anyone who succeeded.
They were all just teenage rebel types. As was I! I never knew any of them to be abused or neglected, mostly they wanted to grow their hair long (this is the late 60s) or drive a hot rod or whatever other beef they had with strict parents.
