I doubt she did much at all, just said "fine, vatever".

(9,893 posts)Some landscaping company handed her a bunch of pictures or drawings and she picked one. Maybe she said, "Move this bush over here," but that's about it. I don't think it's that horrible. All the pictures I've seen compare the current version with the "old" version in spring when the bulbs and trees are flowering. Obviously they will be very different. I'm certainly not in favor of uprooting live trees, however.

(33,345 posts)Crabapples are pretty about 2 weeks a year, and they hid the loggia and the columns. A taller species would have been better - get the branches up above the height of the beam and still provide shade in there.
I would hope that it was an actual Landscape Architect who planned this.
