Have you ever watched a live police chase from a helicopter?

Democrats must be like those 50 police cars chasing down that one Republican driver. He'll drive over curbs, across fields, wrong way on the interstate, smash into cars...and when his car finally gives out, he runs, starts shooting. When they catch him, he resists and tries to get away. When they finally get him handcuffed, he writers around, bumps them, spits on them. They don't give up....even after they know they've lost.

Republicans are like El Chapo.

Democrats must get much more serious. Decorum gets you nothing. Democrats are lawyers....they must figure out how to overwhelm them with force. Figure a way to handcuff Dejoy and Barr. Jail them. File dozens of personal lawsuits against them. Traumatize them to such a degree that no Republican dares pull this stuff ever again.

32. Okay. Show us where an elected official such as a Congressman has the legal authority ...

...to lock someone up on their sole say-so. Being a lawyer doesn’t give anybody that right (“Democrats are lawyers”) nor does being a Congressman. By the way, there is NO requirement that elected officials “be a lawyer” — any citizen can run for political office.

If Senators and Congressmen could do what you think they can do, none of us would be safe from the Trumpistas, the Freedom Caucus, or the Tea Party. They are not sent to DC to be Sheriffs in some fantasy Wild West, delegated to be judge, jury, and executioner. In fact neither are urban police, and that is one of the key battles of our time.

There are three branches of Federal government: Executive (President), Judiciary (Attorney General, Dept of Justice), and Legislative (Senate and House). Lines have been blurred and in some places broken, but not that much. The Legislative branch makes laws and it is a complicated process — to Trump's disappointment, he can’t just send out a tweet or bellow an order and make a new law. He can, however, veto new ones that come across his desk. (The Senate has the right to override his veto, but this Senate will not.)

The House and Senate can work together or they can cancel each other out. The House has sent hundreds of good bills to the Senate since Mitch McConnell became Majority Leader, and he has let them die or has killed them outright. Want an example? Impeachment. The Democrats did their job — and they are doing their job every damn day with Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House. It was the Senate that let Trump continue in office.

You want things to change? Change the composition of the Senate and also make sure the House stays in Democratic hands. How do you do that? GOTV every 2 years, and vote straight-ticket for Dems in the General.

Having a temper tantrum and insisting that Democratic House members do something they cannot do is not going to help.

He is a bald faced criminal, and I bet this is not his first time at the rodeo. I don't care who arrests him, or what for...just find something and do it. Try him in the court of public opinion. Everybody should hate a Fat Cat CEO Billionaire who slowed their mail down, closed their post office and took away their mailbox. But first you've got to have a perp walk in handcuffs and mug shots, because seeing is believing. Then you get public demanding his ouster.

Democrats always lose the real battle because they lose the PR battle. But this guy is just low hanging fruit. Before you complain that I am wrong....tell me why good guy Dr. Fauci has to live in fear of death threats, while bad guy Dejoy will likely make huge coin on his criminal actions.
