It just never stops. So glad these police didn't draw guns on her brother.
Side note: My daily work commute used to involve passing by parts of Santa Clara University. Nearly every Friday, the frat guys were out on the lawns with their beer pong parties and the police never questioned if that was their home/place of residence.

Well, its not your home, the police told the couple. The University owns it.
Like others on the block, their house is owned by the university and leased out to early-career, tenure-track faculty, she told The Post. But when a neighbor left their house nearby to walk their dog that morning, the officers declined to ask them for ID, Morgan said

The only reason to say that is to escalate the situation. Its not your home because you rent it from the college? That prick should he fired.
The whole thing is wrong, but the off hand being a dick attitude struck me somehow.
