15. Met two Republicans yesterday. They both initiated a "we gotta get rid of this guy" conversation.

I'm selling an old car, and my friend said he knew a guy who might be interested, but warned me that this fellow is a hard core Trump supporter.

i don't see any way there is anything he (or Biden for that matter!)can say that is going to get enough people to flip to get him reelected. that's why he just keeps throwing raw meat to his base to keep them on board while his legions of stormtroopers figure out how to lie/cheat/steal/suppress and use every damn trick in the book to fuck the vote enough that he eeks out another EC win.

19. Legitmacy needed to rule

That's what I see happening too, he's going to try to steal the election and if he's successful he'll still need roughly 30% support to be legitimate at all. That's what people don't get, The dictators in history didn't start out popular, they started out with a fanatical base that provided legitimacy, maybe 20% or 30%, then when they start removing the opposition and controlling the media fully their popularity rises because the people don't hear anything negative anymore.

If Trump steals a 2nd term, I guarantee he will ban all media save for FOX or OANN from all government functions briefings. There won't be real press conferences anymore, and the press releases will only go through OANN. Everyone, including the legit media, would be forced to go to OANN for anything.
