Not a single person who has missed a prescription or check delivery believes their complaints are a Democratic conspiracy. They know the Rs are lying when they try to pin the slowdown on Dems trying to cheat. Not only lying, but deliberately ignoring the real-life problems caused by DeJoy's actions. None of the Rs, not one, has expressed a real concern or a desire to get to the cause of the slowdown. I can't imagine that any of the R grandstanding will win them any votes or prevent an erosion of support for drumpf.

(22,126 posts)mail order prescriptions, their bills sent by the US Mail, their payments if they were rec'd on time or not, and / or their packages from the whole slew of businesses that they do business with (and have their orders mailed to them via the US Mail).
republicans don't seem to realize that the slowdown in the US Mail deliberately caused by rump and his cronies is impacting their republican voters just as much, probably more, being that a lot of these republican voters live in rural areas of America, where they rely on the US Mail more.
Idiots. This reeks of poor and impulsive planning on the part of rump, desperately trying to slow down his coming doom in Nov. 2020.
If anything, what's this has done is motivate voters to ensure that their votes do get cast properly, do get counted, and their votes do in fact, matter even more so.
Voters have a long memory, and won't forget when their prescriptions are running late, or their bill payments aren't making it in on time, and that republican lawmakers ignored it all, pretending that nothing was wrong, gas lighting onto other non-relevant issues that have nothing to do w/ the mail slowdown. All in trying to criminally steal or take away our votes.
These kinds of things really irk the average voter (my dad for example), for they really do count on the daily arrival of the US Mail, and relish going through the mail like my dad did. He would actually walk up the gravel driveway, some 500 feet or so (good exercise), with all of the dogs, cats, pet turkeys, etc. all in single file behind my dad, as they all walked to the mailbox (and then return). Is was neat to watch, all of them in single file, going to / from the mail box. Multiple this by millions, and I think you'll have a sense of how people feel when the US Mail is tampered with, for no good cause, other than to cheat and try and steal the 2020 Nov. elections, in an underhanded manner.

(22,126 posts)Mom are gone now, but we do have the fond memories, the walk to the mailbox and back was a classic, watching all of the animals follow my dad up to the mailbox and back. It was so neat to see. And some people don't want animals or pets, go figure...they are worth their weight in gold, providing companionship and more.
Thanks again, and take care of yourself!!
