Then get the Enhancer for YouTube plugin. You won't know how you watched YouTube without it.
Their ad campaigns are probably based on clicks and not impressions. No one clicks on them, but people see the ads pop up. Click on them and make the campaign pay between $2-5. You can only do this once every 24 hours because software resolves multiple clicks to prevent a person from draining a campaign's daily fund allotment.

So you either sit there and take it, or you don't. Most people are going for the latter.
I suppose there IS a third option. One could target or boycott other youtube/alphabet/google advertisement buyers, but then you'd have to inform both them and youtube/alphabet/google about your boycott in order to properly convey the message.

It was really bad on the Washington Post last week. It was ridiculous. There was no escape.
