I'll spend time tomorrow securing all outside furniture and other stuff. Check my hurricane-ready box and see what's what. Get anything I need.
Then wait.
Both storms are projected to head my way. Weakened, but tornadoes and flooding are possible. Likely.

(11,885 posts)100 miles NW from Houston now, but have family in the area there still, and hope it doesn't go further West, or a more southern landfall southwest of Galveston. Then we could see some bad weather here possibly. Everyone stay safe and take care , this could get a lot worse before landfall.

Laura will be the first major hurricane this season.
