(14,628 posts)I would guess NY AG Letitia James made a similar deal with Weisselberg for NY State. She is an ass-kicker.

(14,795 posts)He certainly does for trump org, but would he have any for trump himself? Those may have been needed to apply for loans for example.
His testimony will almost certainly justify a corrupt enterprise charge against each of the trumpists. That carries an absolutely certain jail sentence (judges can't not give a min amount of I think 1-3 years) of up to 25 years. The bar is not that high to get over from a legal standpoint. Too bad guns weren't involved in any of this. That would raise it up to aggravated criminal enterprise.
But I digress. Trump couldn't prevent him from turning them over since they would part of his defense and plea agreement, to which trump is not a party.
It would be delicious if he had documents that would prove trump falsified his tax returns when providing them to banks. We know he falsified the "summary" sheets he released during the campaign. Getting his real tax returns would prove both of those.

It's a dead cinch certainty that trumps lawyers have everything the fbi collected from him, so there will be no surprises to them. That sucks.
