Hillary Clinton @HillaryClinton
Perhaps a country in which over 170,000 people have died from a containable disease, 30 million are out of work, and American passports don't gain admittance to most of the world? Oh, wait.

RNC speaker Natalie Harp says that if Hillary Clinton had been elected president, we'd all be living in a dismal country "with no hope of escape except death itself."

(14,585 posts)We live in a fucking dismal country now. Had Clinton been elected, the pandemic probably would have been mostly contained before it even got here.

(15,949 posts)That's a new one.
On May 30, 2018, President Donald Trump signed S.204, the Trickett Wendler, Frank Mongiello, Jordan McLinn and Matthew Bellina Right to Try Act. Right to Try opens a new pathway for terminally ill patients who have exhausted their government-approved options and cant get into a clinical trial to access treatments. Although 41 states have passed Right to Try laws, the signing of S.204 makes Right to Try the law of the land, creating a uniform system for terminal patients seeking access to investigational treatments.
