11. That's how my

mom always thought of me. To her I was supposed to find a husband who, hopefully, wouldn't beat me too much while I was hatching out all his kids. That's it. When I declared, at 16, that I had no intention of ever having children or getting pregnant, she then told me, as she kicked me out of her house, that I could go become a prostitute so I could afford a place to live, maybe. And this was after I raised her youngest three and helped her regain custody of them... for me it was so I could have a chance at having a life after seven years in slavery.

Now that she's too old to remember, I don't bring it up but I have always had a distant relationship with her. And my younger siblings, recognizing what happened, also have issue with her lack of mothering skills.

There are still women like that, and they are disciples of the orangeanus.
