Just because he works for Trump doesn't mean messing with the mail isn't a crime.
Let his lawyers argue it out 2 years from now.
Flight risk. No bond.
Arrest the MoFo now.
Someone.

it is Nov 4th. Check with your local election office how to hand deliver your ballots.

Until we realize that is what is happening, we may risk losing everything. DRASTIC action is necessary, not violent but DRASTIC!

(57,073 posts)Dunno why they haven't thrown his nasty ass in jail, deemed him a flight risk, & squeezed him for info on chumputin.
Perhaps one of the states will?

(30,613 posts)We need to find state-level charges for him in every possible state he might travel to.

(842 posts)Also for interference with mail and elections. These are felonies. Get emergency injunctions, he's still destroying sorting machines.

(12,712 posts)This looks like an actual felony in progress, so I agree.
They need to make the case and waste no time. He is not immune or above the law.

(63,221 posts)Exactly, we need to stop letting them run roughshod over the constitution and our system of law and order. They simply do not believe that they are beholden to the same rules and laws as the rest of us, and Trump is responsible for leading the way with that attitude.
I think if people in charge just start throwing these criminals in prison for what are some easily provable charges, even if they are minor on the surface, we can at least slow this train wreck down, if not stop it altogether. They continue to push the envelope because the rest of us allow it.

(14,157 posts)U.S. A.G. billy barr ain't going to arrest trDump's guy Dejoy.
Maybe a state AG could go after Dejoy for fraudulently gumming up the postal system in a specific state.
Ferrets are Cool
(21,108 posts)there is NO ONE that is going to arrest him for his crimes. And yes, they are criminals.
Red Pest
(288 posts)of the sorting machines or the removal of the blue mail boxes. When asked who did he claimed that it was someone in middle management. If true, DeJoy is incompetent and should be removed from office. However, it is almost certain that he lied; in which case he should be removed from office and prosecuted for lying to Congress.
All these people are Fascists. They will do anything for their leader, especially if they can acquire money & power.

(6,841 posts)We've got a whole branch of government is actively sabotaging all the rest. DeJoy is low-hanging-fruit. Take him now! (on Trumped up charges if necessary)

(121 posts)There's nothing I'd like more than seeing this domestic terrorist in prison, but since destroying the USPS is a federal crime, only the FBI can issue an arrest warrant for him, and since both the justice department and DHS are part of the felonious Trump administration, this is just not going to happen. He could, and almost certainly would be indicted by the a President Biden justice department, but you figured out the rest.
