Another disaster at our doorstep!

And how will Trump handle the Hurricane Laura? Will he suspend the convention to handle the crisis? Nope! “It is what it is”! Remember? Or “it will just disappear”? Or it is Obama and Fake News hoax?

Just something to think about?

and zoom! Laura has made a hard left and is landing somewhere in South America. "Not our problem" beams Trump.

Oh, Sharpie! Is there any problem you can't solve?

Open the FEMA checkbook and give people anything they want.

I have been involved in FEMA Search and Rescue for 25 years. There is a substantial difference in deployment assets and timing in election years.

I distinctly remember banging my head on the wall waiting until too late to be deployed for Katrina. But fast forward 1 year later and we were pre-deployed and sat around doing nothing for a tropical storm. And yes, there are already teams deployed for this. Initially water rescue only for the first storm but I expect full teams today.
