So I decided to go to the hair dressers today Bought a Groupon, made an appointment and

.............Before that.........I am experiencing a bad type of asthma called Eosinophilic asthma and have been very sick. I also just got a heart monitor put on me today. So I would say I am not in the kind of condition to not worry about Covid!

Anyway there were about 5 hairdressers there and they all wore masks but 3 people, 1 one was just there with a friend were sitting around breathing out "WhateverthehellBecauseIDon'tCare!"

I was so upset. I ended up leaving. I haven't had a haircut since the beginning of the lockdown. The women said she was following the guidance, fucking Florida guidance because of Desantis.

I was able to flip one of the maskless ones the bird on my way out. I know she saw me.

I'm going to look around to a hairdresser that will come to me.

Got into a confrontation with a guy who chose not to wear a mask. Things went south when another guy came into the mix to yell at him. All of a sudden we were at defcon1. Guy pulled a knife. Not a little penknife. Cleared a large area of the car.
Doors closed and, aside from yelling at me for being a loser, he stayed in his seat.
I was grateful he left at the next stop.
Really, really have to learn to keep my mouth shut.

came in early to do my hair before anyone else came in. She cut and colored it for me. She was masked and sprayed thr entire shop before I got there. I paid her double, she did not want to take it but I made her. I know it has been tough on her.

That was 3 weeks ago no covid yet. I feel so much better! My hair was longer than it had been in 10 years and grey.

going to the hairdresser, requires a mask, the door is locked until they text you to come in, they take your temperature and make you use sanitizer upon entry. It is not difficult and nobody complains.

Easy to reshave a mowhawk, and spike/ Cascade it when I be been doing it for decades. During covid I'd be scared to go to a hairdresser with unmasked idiots that would send me out the door too. Got diabeties and a few other risks. factors.

Because so many clubs and bars are closed, I think the big stores that are still open, they need to hire all of those out of work bouncers and door men. They are great at tossing out assholes.

Masks are mandatory. And people here wear them. Or at least no matter where I go I only see masked people.

I got my hair cut several weeks ago, and it was clear in the salon that we all had to wear masks. So glad I live here.
