I think we can estimate where this is going to go if there is another term for the tyrant.

How could they NOT increase the scapegoat net and start to reign in and persecute the opposition through various methods? I would assume that the past will come to repeat itself if this continues and would be surprised if it didn't. It is a part of the overall strategy.

It's a step-by-step process. What we saw with immigration was just the trailer and many people are going to be vulnerable to their sweeps. More scapegoats fuel the Fascism and that could include liberals, democrats, academics, intellectuals, journalists, etc. in the purges down the line.

Note the way they are already painting us with their dark distortions and sensational, demonizing rhetoric. That is what I base my estimations on.
