(67,111 posts)And generally, the good ones don't call them out. The solution I see is every damn thing they do must be recorded. Some cops IMO join the force so they can beat on people. To them, it's a sport and people are the game. It's damn pathetic

(51,122 posts)Stop! Stop! Stop!: Sacramento Deputies Take Down, Arrest Black Man Only to Realize Theyve Got the Wrong Guy
An alarming video posted to social media Monday shows the violent takedown of a man Sacramento deputies alleged had a warrant for his arrest, with authorities later realizing theyd nabbed the wrong guy.
The clip, which has been viewed over 20,000 times, shows the moment at least two officers accost the man in a parking lot, one of them deploying his Taser before delivering a forceful jump kick to the mans back.
Stop! Stop! Stop! a woman behind the camera shouts as authorities proceed to tackle the apparently compliant man to the ground.

(24,303 posts)after he was put in handcuffs, as far as I am concerned, any black man has the right to resist being put in handcuffs. That's what these assholes have done, and now they can live with it. These pigs have pushed it way over the edge, and they are going to find out they are seriously outnumbered and out gunned. It's going to get way worse before it gets better, and it's going to be ugly.

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. Update August 28: The Sacramento County Sheriff's spokesperson told ABC10 Friday that "The Sheriffs Office conducted an administrative investigation, the allegations were sustained against the deputy, and appropriate action has been taken."
The specific discipline was not released because the case doesn't fall under SB 1421, according to the spokesperson. SB 1421 covers police conduct where there is a serious injury.
Original article March 17:
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department has launched an excessive force investigation after video appearing to show a deputy kicking a man in the back went viral.
According to the Instagram post, the man in the video was "minding his business" after a Sunday brunch when he found himself surrounded by Sacramento police officers and sheriff's deputies.

(54,405 posts)The uniformed thugs will find themselves on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds from their intended, but innocent, victims. The bodycams will demonstrate that the shots fired by the civilians will have been fired in perfectly plausible self defense. "We weren't who the cops were looking for, and they weren't acting like legitimate cops, so how were we to know if they were real cops or armed robbers dressed in fake uniforms?"
Charges will be filed, and then dropped. THEN all hell breaks loose. Trigger-happy people on both sides will be packing and itching to stand their ground, no matter on which side of the dispute. These steroid-addled thugs think the public will put up with their abuse forever, while never firing a shot in self-defense. Forever is a LONG time, guys.

(5,969 posts)These aholes with their uncontrolled aggression are a danger to society. Even if it had been the person they had a warrant for, this is still unacceptable. Do these pigs go through any kind of training? We had a warrant might just be one of those cover your ass excuses.
And where's the remedy for the victims? I certainly cannot run around drop-kicking people and then my employer says he handled it without any further info. I hope they got sued at least.
