Ann Dorn said "President Trump understands this" while she delivered remarks in support of Donald Trump — against the wishes of her late husband's daughters, according to interviews they gave Wednesday to the St. Louis American.

“We know his wife is a Trump supporter, but he was not,” Debra White, one of Dorn's daughters, told the American. “He frequently said they were not able to talk about politics because they were at the opposite ends of the spectrum. I know he would not want his legacy to be for his death to be used to further Trump’s law-and-order agenda.”

White told the American that her dad "knew Trump supported police officers, [but] he also knew that Trump said when you are arresting someone, you should go ahead and bump their heads when you are putting them in the squad car. Those are the things he opposed.”

5. It really annoys me that the media never gives these things more attention . With all the crap they

gave Al Gore for things like the color of clothes he wore and other bs they focused on democratic candidates all the time.

The media does not need to report on Trump only based on what they directly hear from him. They can report on these things also .

They gave the swift boat liars who didn't actually serve with Kerry all the time they wanted while ignoring those who actually did serve with Kerry including the man that he saved who was Republican .

There needs to be a serious documentary about the failure of the media . It might take the republican party being truly dead for it to happen though .

David did not vote for Trump in 2016 and told his daughters that he did not plan to vote for him in 2020. He would often talk with his daughters about the “racist things Trump would do,” said Lisa. He hated the president’s policy on family separation, she said — and the derogatory comments he repeatedly made about former NFL player and civil rights activist Colin Kaepernick, who famously knelt during the national anthem to protest police brutality.

“She knew how he felt about Trump’s treatment of Black and brown people,” said Debra. “So for her to use his death to further Trump’s agenda — it was just astounding to me.”

It was “despicable” for Ann to disregard David’s deeply held beliefs, said Lisa.
