ORLANDO, Fla The postal service isnt the only staid federal agency to be drawn into a political battle in 2020.
Unlike the department charged with delivering mail, however, the U.S. Census Bureau has been here before. It has found itself targeted by politicians repeatedly since it conducted its first nationwide head count in 1790.

(21,639 posts)1. When Biden takes offise, he'll have to order a census do-over
The current one probably undercounted population by around 100 million - making it by far the least accurate census in U.S. history, and one of the most inaccurate in the world since at least the Renaissance.

(21,639 posts)3. Thanks - but watch Bitchy Mitchy suddenly become a stickler for the "letter of the constitution"
Imagine this is a year from today:
"The constitution mandates a census for April 1st for every year ending in 0 - so goodness gracious, we can't have a do-over!"
"What about charges that you covered for former President Trump in exchange for his covering for Jimmy Chao's trafficking?"
"I demand a do-over!"
