What does the GOP do when Trump is prosecuted after he leaves office?

They feared the tweets because they needed Trump's cult to vote for them while he was in office. When he loses, will they stick up for him or will the be like all "Trump who?"

That will have an impact on how we get rid of Trumpism after we get rid of Trump.

Mitch? Lindsey? Support him for cheating on his taxes, money laundering?

We should be asking them.

"Recently, two retired Army officers speculated about deploying a brigade from the 82nd Airborne Division to overpower Trump's "private army" that they believe the defeated president will use to try to cling to office. "

He will have no power. I have always been skeptical of his claims of wealth. What country will welcome him? Russia, Turkey, North Korea, maybe. Why should they, he has no power and no true wealth. I suppose he could start Trump TV with Burnett, but his staged convention was a floppy bore. Maybe, I am wrong.

He’ll be sitting pretty for endless rivers of money pouring in from right wing media. His ability to nurture hatred is priceless.

Joe Biden says that he believes prosecuting a former president would be a "very unusual thing and probably not very ... good for democracy," but he would not stand in the way of a future Justice Department pursuing criminal charges against President Trump after he leaves office.
