2nd Lt. Nathan Freihofer, a popular TikTok influencer with nearly 3 mil followers, posted a joke about the holocaust.I'm deleting actual tweet because the joke shouldn't be shared. You can to to Twitter if you want to see it.
How many like this in our military? That's the point.

(1,474 posts)There is a thin veneer of fake humorousness, but you will note that his psyche and facial muscles engage most powerfully when he is barking threats. The entire video was created in order to make threats about anyone who would be offended by a cruel reference to the Shoah, and it's fairly easy to figure out what that's all about.
Also, the emptiness of his soul is rather evident in the first video.
This whole thing is horrifying. Anger producing.

I could just say "Hey, it's just a joke, fuck you."

(52,338 posts)It doesn't even make sense as a joke.
Why would ash be a favorite of Jews? The set up should be about a nazi concentration camp guard, if you want it to be structured as an actual (but still highly offensive) joke.
So if you ignore the insensitive aspect, then you're just left with a completely nonsensical statement in the form of a joke but without any actual humor.
Epic fail.

Looks like this O-1 screwed the pooch, so to speak, in terms of his career. I guess his popularity made him think he was "special" enough to violate Army guidelines and common decency.
