greatly defined by their pasts. Don and Pete are not at all the same, nor is Mitt like either man. Just because they wear suits and go to an office this does not make them similar.
Now Ann might be a tad like Pete. But that's a different thread.

He grew up in poverty and never forgot where he came from. It haunts him, like a ghost. Also, Don has a conscience and is often racked with guilt, look at the guilt he carries over the suicides.

Romney is a sociopath.

not at any time have I ever thought of Don Draper while watching Mitt!! Although they probably do have similar opinions regarding business.....

Although I love Mad Men & Don Draper & for that matter, I also loved the 60s!
