We really need to GOTV in order to put this thing beyond their ability to steal it.

He always "trues up" the final versions of his polls so he can claim to have been accurate for the next cycle.

9. The Gallup Poll Is Weird

Sep 2012

In a three day period the president went from 46% -48% Approve /Disapprove to 51%-43 Approve/Disapprove with no major , intervening events.

But those "big" days aren't reflected in the horse race numbers yet because that's a seven day moving average.

on edit- the bump in approval may be a reaction to Romney($)'s 47% remark which was caught in the three day moving (approve disapprove average) but it hasn't seeped in fully to the seven day moving ( horse race) average

Rasmussen puts out information to push undecided voters toward republicans. When his efforts change, he presents reality.

Obama's lead show grow through at least mid week because their horse race numbers are a trailing average due to the fact it's a seven day average and their approve/disapprove is a three day moving average.

On blogs, right-wing morons are always mentioning that Romney led Obama on Gallop. Can't wait to see how those brainless worms try to spin this latest Gallop poll. I have an idea, they will mention that days until the election and boast about the poll on on November 7th is all that counts. The right has always been out of touch with reality, blogs simply give them outlets for their rage and ignorance.
