(26,268 posts)I'll be prepared to wait in line, but I usually vote at between 9 and 10 and have yet to encounter a long line at my precinct. Even in 2008 I walked right up to the sign in table.
Then I'm going to go home and STAY home for as long as my perishable foods and/or wine supply holds out. Regardless of the outcome, I am deeply worried about election aftermath.

(11,949 posts)Her great, great, great grandfather was wounded twice fighting for the Union. We have his Obit about a war hero dying in the early 1900s. My dad saw some shit in Korea.
I reckon I can brave waiting in line to early vote. Not much of a sacrifice that.

(25,943 posts)Rump has made such an issue of mailed-in ballots that I expect thats where his fuckery lies. Vote in person, early, to circumvent nefarious schemes.
