How many Trumpsters will be tempted to commit voter fraud--

that is, try to vote two or more times--because their Great Leader has now endorsed this as another way to try to rig the election?

Benedict Donald is perfectly wiling to throw them all under the bus in the interests of "saving America." Any such zealots should be prosecuted, period.

Of greater concern to me: how many red state election officials and poll watchers will look the other way when such lawlessness occurs?

This election calls for extraordinary vigilance on the part of those Americans who actually care about democracy.

Doctors Without Borders is now in-country to help with the Covid-19 crisis, because our own national effort has been so utterly piss poor. Maybe it's time we called for election observers from the EU to monitor the most problematic jurisdictions?

Then too, once Vice President Biden is sworn in, and we have the Senate {and the majority leader dumps the filibuster on its first day in session) we need to re-pass the Voting Rights Act of 1965, or its 21st century equivalent, in such a way that it's immune to Supreme Court machinations.

If we dodge this bullet, we need to ensure that we never again come so close to losing our democracy. Election security should be among the highest priorities, and "reaching across the aisle" shouldn't be an excuse for letting wannabe authoritarians and their enablers skate, as they have in the past.

Maybe he just wants reasons to claim voter fraud just to tie it up in the courts even though it was caused by HIM!!! Wouldn't surprise me that that's their plan!!

The double standard is just mind boggling, not to mention simply infuriating.

They select trash like Trump to represent their "values" while our candidates have to be without a hint of blemish in order to be viable.

I was in the voter protection war room and an election judge called me and asked if trying to vote twice was against the law. A trump supporter insisted that he had the right to vote twice. We had a room full of lawyers and fed the election judge with the provision of the Texas Election Code that made it a crime to vote twice. This idiot was arrested and this arrest made the Washington Post https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/12/01/0-000002-percent-of-all-the-ballots-cast-in-the-2016-election-were-fraudulent/

A man in Texas who voted twice. Phillip Cook was arrested on Election Day after voting twice. He claimed to be an employee of Trump's campaign who was testing the security of the electoral system. He wasn't an employee of the campaign — and the polling location's security worked perfectly well, it seems.

BTW, his second vote was not registered. The mere attempt to vote twice was a crime
