My apologies but even though this applies to both democrats and republicans in congress, it applies to republicans a great deal more. By talking about the politicians, we are trying to address a body of men and women who DO NOT understand or care about "John Q". They have the ability to vote themselves a substantial raise WHENEVER they desire even though our country is in shambles. They have pensions that even after just one term in office are likes of which you and I will NEVER see. They are criminally exempt from almost every criminal act with the exception of tax laws. They do not understand or even take the time to learn what it's like to live paycheck to paycheck. THEY JUST DON'T CARE AND IT'S BECOME OBVIOUS TO MOST AMERICANS!
The current republican party is an embarrassment to the former members such as Abe Lincoln, Barry Goldwater, Dwight Eisenhower, and George Romney (yes Mitt's father).
We are still counting the bodies (our greatest resource) coming back from the middle east...a war that George Bush started by lying and fear-mongering us into. His debt created by this war is now over 15 TRILLION dollars! Why hasn't he been prosecuted for this?
Isn't it obvious that Halliburton, CACI, and Blackwater have made billions on this war for Cheney, Bush and the like? Isn't the "expense" of losing so many of our troops important enough to get the hell out of there?
Why isn't Walmart broken up when they pillage every small town they get into by undercutting the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation "ma and pa" stores? They are simply a Chinese retailer with American management.
When are we going to start doing something about this?
With all the republican chatter going on...if you vote for Romney, it would be appreciated as to how you to explain why, since I too would be interested to know what it's like to live in a DREAM WORLD!

Republican obstructionism is the number two reason our country is in the financial mess we are in today.

The number one reason? The republican policies and actions that started this mess: (1) two unfunded wars of vanity and greed, one so blatantly illegal and immoral it literally begs for war crimes trials; (2) unfunded tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans that don't need them, and won't even use the tax cut funds to create jobs, proving AGAIN that the "trickle-down" theory of economics is utter bullshit; and (3) the complete republican abdication of creating or even enforcing rules and regulations to govern our financial system to ensure if functions fairly for all.
