Well her and creepy Ted Nugent and Lynyrd Skynyrd can just raise the south again. A few Marines and one Apache will have them in a bag by lunch.

Kyle was chased down by unarmed protesters in Kenosha...if both sides were armed...the shooting begins...
Another scenario...Trump buys some hired guns (Erik Princes mercenaries blackwater) to infiltrate around protestors and they foment violence...Trump calls for Marshall law and orders military into cities...evangelicals believe that their messiah has come and another crusade will become duty and honor...
There are so many ways of engagement it scares me into nightmares...

In just the past two weeks, the president has praised supporters of the right-wing conspiracy theory QAnon, which contends, as The Guardian recently summarized it, that a cabal of Satan-worshipping Democrats, Hollywood celebrities and billionaires runs the world while engaging in pedophilia, human trafficking and the harvesting of a supposedly life-extending chemical from the blood of abused children. Trump touted a conspiracy theory that the national death toll from COVID-19 is about 9,000, a fraction of the official figure of nearly 185,000; promoted a program on the One America News Network accusing demonstrators of secretly plotting Trumps downfall; encouraged his own supporters to commit voter fraud; and claimed Biden is controlled by people that are in the dark shadows who are wearing dark uniforms.
Trump believes his own government is conspiring to delay a COVID-19 vaccine until after the election. He retweeted a message from the actor James Woods saying New York Governor Andrew Cuomo should be in jail and another from an account accusing the Portland, Oregon, mayor of committing war crimes. The president is inciting violence, in the words of Marylands Republican Governor, Larry Hogan. Trump defended 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, a supporter who is charged with first-degree homicide; and stated that if he loses the election in November it would be because it was rigged. At the same time, the second-ranking House Republican, among other of the presidents supporters, has shared several manipulated videos in an effort to damage Biden.
Lock him up.
(6,943 posts)... he believes the only way he'll keep his conman-a$$ out of jail for life is to manipulate his moronic followers (what he really believes they are) to do his bidding and keep voting for him.
Once the Electoral-College vote will be done and he loses (if we keep working hard at it: flyers, work the phone, register young voters and telling them where to vote with masks and gloves on), they will all go cry to mommy.
He's losing the military with his stupid disrespect of those who sacrificed to save the country (because he's a NAZI who projects what he hates about himself: being a loser).

(3,268 posts)Why do all these morons have "weapon systems" with laser sights and extended magazines or huge optical sights all designed as a contradiction-a large magazine says I'm going to spray and pray and the sights say I'll take them at 300 meters...and both cannot be true. Other than what I see as an actual terroristic threat I find her BS laughable...

(12,422 posts)Her weapons are words that incite violence in others that follow her words...one gun is not much but her words have traveled to her constituents ears and beyond...she should be arrested...but in Trump world that will probably not happen...

(3,268 posts)What I find laughable is this-find a photo of taliban or isis fighters all of whom carry AK47's with iron sights...now find a photo of actual us army combat troops and 90% carry vanilla M-16's (might be a variant now) with iron sights. Actual combat is small units killing each other at under 50 meters with the occasional sniper trying long distance shit...my point is a vanilla 16 is 7lbs and change and these clowns strap another 4-6 and sometimes 8 lbs of bullshit to a rifle because then it looks sexy to them. I suspect the extra weight would be a detriment in a real fight...real soldiers know how to lighten their load.

(16,858 posts)I don't even have one right now, but I think that's about to change. I'm not so worried about having a gun to take when I go places. I'm basically a shut-in, so I don't have much interaction with people I don't know. But I am worried about the area around my house.
The neighborhood I live in is sort of a borderline area. It's mostly a working class area with rather small houses, around 800-1600 sq. ft., and they're in various stages of repair. The yards are maintained, but nobody does anything fancy with them.
The people here are a good mix of racial and ethnic groups. The people are friendly with each other. I don't know of anyone who has a really bad relationship with anyone else. Most of us want to get along.
The thing that concerns me is that there are a couple of houses on the edge of the neighborhood who appear to be dealing drugs. Violence and drug dealing go hand in hand. I'm concerned about shit being started here by people who don't live here. I also wonder about the possibility of people coming to a neighborhood like this and causing mischief. I think the chances of that are much greater here than in a more homologous area.
So I watch the news warily. So much is riding on this election. I don't know if I should go ahead and get a gun now or if I should just wait and see how the election turns out. I'll be a lot less worried of Biden wins, but I'm not so sure that things will change much right away. If I don't get a gun now, guns might be hard to come by, either because of hoarding or because they'll be so expensive that I won't be able to afford one. I really hate to do it, but I'm getting really worried.
