How Big Pharma pushes risky drugs on an unknowing public:

Very detailed article over at NakedCapitalism today.

According to Ben Goldacre, "Drugs are tested by the people who manufactured them in poorly designed trials, on hopelessly small numbers of weird unrepresentative patients and then analysed using techniques that are flawed by design, in such a way that they exagerate the benefits of the treatments so tested."

Remember the ACA only helps people have insurance. It doesn't address for even one moment the awful reality that this nation really has no one but a bought-out Food and Drug industry doing drug "oversight." The FDA"s minimal oversight regarding the products that their main benefactor, the Big Pharmaceutical companies helps companies profit at the expense of Americans health.
