called my husband and said don't waste your money, the movie is shit and he wished he had not gone!
My husband said we had no plans to see it anyway and said we could have told you it was shit.

(5,528 posts)A progressive friend of ours told us that her RW neighbor had given her a package with anti-obama pamphets and a $10 bill to go see the movie.
She said she was going to send it to the Obama campaign
It makes me wonder if this isn't another one of those widespread schemes to drive up ticket sales similar to what they do for RW authors.

(6,278 posts)My teabagger sister-in-law sent my wife and me an email basically challenging us to see the movie (based on some weird premise that liberals pride themselves on being open minded and refusing the challenge would somehow be hypocritical). She even initially agreed to see the Michael Moore documentary of our choice in exchange - before backing off.
