Denver's channel 9 (NBC) is reporting that the woman is a Romney campaign worker. Republicans are, of course, claiming that Democrats released the tape to cause embarrassment to Romney and the republican party. No doubt they'll next claim that Dems put the woman up to it.

(38,001 posts)Are you saying this woman is an official representative of the DNC?

(52,162 posts)I am not saying the video was shot by a DNC employee but I am saying that the DNC helped publicize the video and that not doing so would be political malpractice.

[div class="excerpt" 9NEWS learned Sunday that the young woman is a volunteer for the Romney campaign. They say she was inexperienced and have since spoke with her.
The video was taken outside a Safeway store in El Paso County more than a month ago by a known Democratic supporter.
Republicans claim it was released at a time to make their campaign look silly.
Democrats deny that claim.
The Clerk & Recorder has asked the woman who posted to the video to remove it from YouTube because it contains inaccurate information. They say she has refused to remove the video. ]
