I want to publically apologize to President Trump
President Trump, this is my bad, and I apologize.
I thought and I posted and I argued with acquaintances that your response to the pandemic was because of your incompetence. I was wrong. You were not incompetent in this case. You had a good handle about how deadly the pandemic was, you knew how it was spread, you knew that it affected young and old, you knew that many Americans would die, you knew about how serious and deadly the COVID-19 pandemic was. You knew. My apologies for arguing about your incompetence in this case.
You were not incompetent in this case. You were malicious. You were self-serving. You were purposely misleading so that the stock market wouldn't tank and ruin your chances at re-election. You understood, but you misled. You put American lives in danger, not because you didn't get it, but because you needed to hang on to power no matter what, no matter how many of us died.
You were, however, profoundly incompetent when you acquiesced to taped interviews with a journalist who has already brought down one incompetent president.
You are at times incompetent and at times malicious and often both at the same time. But always, always, it's important to understand that you killed Americans, and that you continue to attempt to kill the valued principles upon which our nation was built.
