...directly from county boards of health, hospital groups or both. So does Johns-Hopkins, NIH, and IHME.
It would require the majority of health board leaders to conspire to obfuscate the numbers, as well as coroners & medical examiners.
That's why the consolidation of numbers to DHS was such a stupid idea. They believed it would control the numbers, therefore the narrative.
But, several aggregators getting the numbers at the same time, or before, DHS got them, achieved nothing.
Geez, even Faux was using Worldometer numbers in their reporting. CNN used Johns-Hopkins.
There was never a successful plan to hide the data. They were too sloppy & stupid to realize the effort would fail.

of Texas.

Apparently the Texas software had given errors all along due to limitations. There was also issues with labs reporting positive cases.

It not so much 'deaths'. That can mostly be nailed down. Since mid July, testing dropped locally and reporting from past months was added each day.

What this created was a kind of 'fog of war' to the point there was no clear picture of what was going on GOING INTO THE OPENING OF SCHOOLS.

I would argue that was intentional.

And no, Texas and Florida numbers are not accurate.

There's no evidence in the numbers themselves of a drop attributable to willful concealment.
Including TX & FL.

Or delayed unplugging and clearing out of the ICUs. Hard to contact the relatives and get approval to move them to the morgue over Labor Day weekend.
